Product Champion to VP


A new product champion retained Lucas to assess the growth and profit potential of a rapidly-growing, non-core service offering. Lucas and the Client considered alternative ways to deliver the service, concluding it would  not be economic to continue.

Client and Lucas convinced the President to sell the service, and executed the sale, making an immediate cash gain.

The Client became general manager of a second business area, this time a core offering.  He worked with Lucas to negotiate the renewal of an existing  relationship (with another immediate gain) and the launch of a new service, funded by a supplier.

The Client is now a Vice President and has recently been advised by Lucas on  the impact of recent developments  Web Services.
